During the procedure, decay will be removed as necessary after the tooth is anesthetized. The tooth will be then be cleaned and prepared thoroughly. The composite filling will then be precisely placed, shaped, and polished - restoring your tooth to its original shape and function.
It is normal to experience some sensitivity to hot and cold after composite fillings are placed. However, this should subside shortly after your tooth acclimates to the new filling.
